Treasure Chests are found randomly throughout LEGO Worlds. Some will fall from the sky as meteors, some are found deep underground in Cave Systems while others appear in randomly generated Brick Builds. They are marked in the world by yellow light beams and when found emit a yellow glow and a twinkling sound. They can contain various things, from Items to blueprints for Brick Builds to Gold Bricks and they will always give a small shower of Studs. Blueprints and items will usually be appropriate to the Biome that the player is currently in, and may be necessary to complete nearby Quests.
When opened, they will give the player one of six things:
- A new Item
- A new type of Brick for use in custom building
- A new Brick Build
- A Gold Brick[1]
- A piece of Headwear[1]
- A shower of Small Items[2]
Treasure Chests have special variants that only appear in certain Biomes. These variants only differ visually however, as most chests contain the same selection of rewards, except the Legendary and Dungeon chests and certain other special chests.
