The Coelophysis is a rideable Creature in LEGO Worlds that naturally appears only in the Rowdy Rainforest.

Description[]

The Coelophysis (See-loh-fy-sis) is a small, bipedal, carnivorous dinosaur that has cream skin with green stripes. There is a single stud on its back, where a Character can ride.

Characters riding the Coelophysis tend to look out of control, barely hanging on with the legs and arms waving wildly.

When idle, the Coelophysis will often look around, then spying its own tail, chase it in a slow circle until it catches it.

Background[]

From Wikipedia:

Coelophysis is an extinct genus of coelophysid theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 203 to 196 million years ago during the latter part of the Triassic Period in what is now the southwestern United States[4] and also in South Africa and Zimbabwe.[5]

Coelophysis was a small, slenderly-built, ground-dwelling, bipedal carnivore, that could grow up to 3 m (9.8 ft) long. Coelophysis is one of the earliest known dinosaur genera. Scattered material representing similar animals has been found worldwide in some Late Triassic and Early Jurassic formations.

Notes[]

  • The Coelophysis is also a part of the Dino Transport Cage Build Showcase Brick Build.
  • To tame the Coelophysis, the Player must not only defeat it, but after that, feed it a Banana.
